First DrupalCamp Kyiv

DrupalCamp Kyiv was first held in August 2008 in hospitable G-Club premises, gathering around 40 Drupal developers from four Ukrainian cities (the camp, by the way, was organized in just 10 days). Four presentations were held in which Drupal basics were discussed along with the best modules, search engine optimizations, translation problems, system usage examples, etc. There was a lot of informal and open communication between the participants while having a cup of tea or playing a game of pool.

The result of a conference was the creation of Drupal_UA Google group, thanks to which the single official translation of 5th and 6th Drupal versions was done in just a few weeks.

This year DrupalCamp Kyiv is more ambitious in the aspect of guests and participants, more time is allocated for the preparation and examination of presentation topics. Details can be found on the time-table web-page.
